CELESTE BALADI

BOB JONES UNIVERSITY

Celeste Baladi began playing soccer at five years old and took full advantage of growing up with both club and high school soccer. Celeste played for Coastal GPS and Carolina State Elite Team, was captain of both teams from 2018-2022, and was a three-time consecutive State Cup champion. Celeste was also selected to be on the 2020 GPS National Team, where she served as team captain. Through her club career, she was selected for the GAAPS All-Star Team. In high school, Celeste was a starter on the CHAA Hurricanes varsity squad. She later joined Tormenta FC in the Piedmont League and played holding midfielder and center back. Celeste has also been playing with WPSL Savannah Spirit Futures since the beginning of high school. Celeste is a very physical player with an exceptional first touch, ball control, and has a high soccer IQ. She plans to major in kinesiology and has aspirations of becoming a physical therapist.

MATTHIAS BALADI

BOB JONES UNIVERSITY

Matthias started playing soccer with our local YMCA at three. He was so passionate about the game that he started club soccer at eight. He played midfield for many years with Savannah United and later joined Coastal GPS.  He played with the Charleston GPS Elite for two summers.  In his last two years of club soccer, he joined the top team with Tormenta FC and played on the MLS next team as a center-back. He played with Coastal Hurricanes for five years. Matthias Baladi was a part of the Tormenta FC organization while also playing for his CHAA team. He was named the GICAA All-Star in 2019. While at Bob Jones University, Matthias will be studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

ZADIE BARGERON

COVENANT COLLEGE

Zadie was a 5-year starter at the Mid-Field position for the Hurricanes. She started as an 8th grader in the inaugural season of the Lady Canes Soccer program and quickly became a strong presence in the midfield. Zadie was a two-time Captain for the Canes and helped lead her team to a 23-2 record, the GICAA State Championship, Tournament Under the Cross Championship, and 2nd Place in a National Homeschool Tournament in Springfield, MO, her senior year. In her Senior year, Zadie scored seven goals with ten assists. Zadie signed to play with Covenant College, an NCAA Division III program in Lookout Mountain, GA.

ABBY RICHARDSON

POINT UNIVERSITY

Abby was the brick wall in goal for the Hurricanes for three seasons. In her Junior year, she proved herself to be an elite goalie with a 23-2 record, 11 shutouts, and only allowing 18 goals in 25 games. The Lady Canes won the GICAA State Championship and the Tournament Under the Cross Championship. They placed 2nd at a National Homeschool Tournament in Springfield, MO. Abby signed with Point University, an NCAA Division III program in West Point, GA.

EMMA SNIDER


UNIVERSITY OF MARY

Emma was a 4-year starter in the mid-field and striker position for the Hurricanes. She started as an 8th grader in the inaugural season of the Lady Canes Soccer program and quickly showed her ability to score highlight goals. Emma was a two-time Captain for the Canes and helped lead her team to a 23-2 record, the GICAA State Championship, Tournament Under the Cross Championship, and 2nd Place in a National Homeschool Tournament in Springfield, MO, her senior year. Emma set a season scoring record for the Canes that year, scoring 36 goals with 13 assists in 24 games. Emma signed to play with Georgia Military College, an NJCAA Division I program, where she led the Region in scoring. After one year at GMC, Emma transferred to the University of Mary, an NCAA Division II program in Bismarck, ND.

MEGAN SNIDER


LINCOLN MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY

Megan was a 4-year starter in the center defense position for the Hurricanes. She started as an 8th grader in the inaugural season of the Lady Canes Soccer program and proved to be a true defensive force. Megan was a two-time Captain for the Canes and helped lead her team to a 23-2 record, the GICAA State Championship, Tournament Under the Cross Championship, and 2nd Place in a National Homeschool Tournament in Springfield, MO, her senior year. Megan anchored a defensive squad that only allowed 18 goals in 25 games, adding ten goals and 15 assists. Megan signed with the University of South Alabama, an NCAA Division I program, and after two seasons, transferred to Lincoln Memorial University, an NCAA Division II program in Harrogate, TN.

CARSON SINGER

TOCCOA FALLS COLLEGE

Carson was a 4-year starter for the Hurricanes as a goalie and a tenacious right fullback. He was a 2-time team captain and helped lead the Hurricanes to a 10-5-4 record his senior year, adding two goals, nine assists, and their second trip to the GICAA state semi-finals. Carson signed to play with Toccoa Falls College, an NCCAA Division II program in Toccoa, GA, where he quickly earned a starting position and played in every game that season. After one season, Carson decided to leave school to enlist in the United States Army. Carson played on his Unit’s soccer team during Advanced Individual Training, earning an Army Commendation Medal for being voted the team’s MVP.
