Brett Collins Scores 2,000 Career Points

Coastal Homeschool Athletic Association Brett CollinsLOOK LOOK – Not a 1,000 Career Point Scorer but 2000 points!

Scoring 1,000 points in a high school basketball career is a big deal. How about double that to 2,000!

Coastal Homeschool Athletic Association standout basketball player senior Brett Collins achieved the milestone recently in a losing cause. Brett surpassed the 2K mark dropping in 37 points in a loss at First Presbyterian Christian Academy in Hinesville, 75-65 on December 18, 2018.

Collins is a 6’5 senior out of Guyton, Georgia who is averaging 30 points per game through 10 hardwood battles this season to go along with 14.4 rebounds. Brett against First Presbyterian Christian Academy has averaged 30.5 against in six varsity contests. He did it again last night. For his career, Collins has scored 40 or more points on four occasions and 30 plus in 28 career games.

He becomes the first Hurricane to top the 2,000 point mark. He passed up the Canes previous all-time point scorer, his brother Daniel, late last season. Let’s just keep it in the family. Congrats Brett and keep on draining those buckets!
