Hurricanes Cheerleading

CHAA Hurricanes Cheerleading gives girls the opportunity to build confidence, develop cheerleading skills, form lasting friendships, and encourage our athletes while representing CHAA with Unity, Character, and Honor.

Our Hurricanes Football & Basketball Cheerleading programs are open to girls ages 12 and up. Cheerleaders learn cheers, chants, motions, jumps, routines, and sideline skills while bringing energy and Hurricane spirit to our football field and basketball court. More importantly, our program encourages each young lady to grow as a teammate and leader while using her talents to serve and encourage others. Tryouts for Football Cheerleading are in June and tryouts for Basketball are in October.

Waterspouts Cheerleading | Ages 7–11

Our Waterspouts Cheerleading program introduces younger girls, ages 7–11, to the excitement of cheerleading and gives our future Hurricanes a place to learn, grow, and have fun! Waterspouts develop age-appropriate cheer skills, teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and school spirit in an encouraging environment.

Whether cheering under the Friday night lights, courtside during basketball season, or learning the fundamentals as a Waterspout, our cheerleaders are an important part of Hurricane Nation.
